THE UNFOLDING RETREAT

5 nights in Spain,

19-24th Sept 2026

When life is full, fast, and demanding, we learn to hold it all; tension in the body, stories in the mind, emotions pushed just out of reach. Over time, we lose touch with what we actually feel, want, and need.

This retreat is an invitation to pause.

Through movement, rest, and reflection, we begin to unravel the patterns we carry (physically, emotionally, and mentally) and create space to listen more deeply. Not to fix or change ourselves, but to expand awareness and reconnect with a more honest, grounded experience of being.

And from beneath the layers of busyness and expectation, something powerful emerges, we reconnect with what has always been there: a clearer sense of self, our values, our desires, and a deeper trust in our own direction.

Come as you are. Leave closer to yourself, and a community unfolding together.

Group of people practicing yoga on mats in a serene, outdoor setting with green trees.

  • Set on a mountainside in southern Spain, where the air is still and the views feel endless, our home overlooks rolling hills, olive trees, Lake Viñuela, and the soft horizon of the sea.

It’s a place where time slows. Where mornings begin in quiet light, days unfold between movement and rest, and evenings gather us together over long, shared meals under open skies.

Held by nature and community, this is a space to exhale. Alongside others, yet always with room to return to yourself.

  • This retreat is designed to support gentle unraveling—of tension, of stories, of the patterns we carry in body and mind.

Through a blend of practices, you’ll be guided to explore both movement and stillness:

    • Vinyasa & somatic movement to soften physical holding

    • Restorative yoga & yoga nidra to deeply rest the nervous system

    • Wild writing to give voice to your inner world and witness what arises

    • Space for integration, rest, and personal reflection

Alongside this, you’ll be nourished with vegetarian meals created by Michelin-star chef Leon and our chef Julia—food designed to support both body and experience.

    Everything is an invitation.
You’re free to move at your own pace, opting in or out as you need.

  • So many of us are holding more than we realise.

    In the body.
    In the mind.
In the roles we play and the expectations we carry.

Over time, this creates distance—from ourselves, our needs, our direction.

This retreat offers a different way.

A space to slow down enough to notice.
To feel what’s underneath the surface.
To gently let go of what no longer serves.

  • As the layers begin to unfold, something shifts.

    You may leave with:

    • A deeper connection to your body and nervous system

    • Greater clarity around what you feel, need, and value

    • Space from the patterns and stories that keep you stuck

    • A sense of grounding, direction, and trust in yourself

    • The experience of being seen and held—without judgment

    • Energy, to move forward on the path unfolding for you.

    Not because you’ve “fixed” anything—
but because you’ve created space to hear yourself more clearly.

    • You feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stretched thin

    • You’re craving space to slow down and reset

    • You want to explore yourself more deeply, beyond the surface

    • You’re ready to reconnect with what matters

    • You value both community and solitude

  • You don’t need to arrive with answers.
You don’t need to be “good” at anything.

Just a willingness to pause, to listen, and to unfold at your own pace.

Opt in or out of as many practices as you feel called to.

  • Retreat Co-ordinator & Yoga Teacher

Renée discovered yoga during a pivotal moment in her life, feeling unfulfilled and stagnant in a corporate career that didn’t reflect her core values. Seeking change, she embraced a vigorous practice, but in her eagerness to excel, she neglected to listen to her body, ultimately resulting in injury. This experience became a turning point for Renée, inspiring her to slow down and explore a more mindful and nurturing approach to yoga. As she deepened her understanding of both the physical and philosophical aspects of the practice, she became passionate about sharing her insights with others. Today, Renée guides her students toward greater awareness and self-compassion, encouraging them to honour their bodies and embark on their own journeys of exploration inviting both play and rest.

  • Wild Writing Guide, Mindful Self-Compassion Teacher & Spiritual Counsellor

I love this photo of Jill. It captures her passion for poetry as inspiration for Wild Writing and living.

Jill brings her years of experience as a Hospice Chaplain to her facilitation of Wild Writing. She leads the way with courage and vulnerability, so that others are emboldened to embrace their own humanity with acceptance and compassion.

  • 🌿 Wild Writing – A practice of honest expression through unedited, intuitive writing.

You will write quickly and imperfectly – not to create “good writing,” but to listen deeply to yourself. Every voice is welcomed and witnessed in the brave space these writing circles offer.

🌿 Emotional support – Should anything arise during our time together.

  • Massage Therapist & Counsellor / Psychotherapist

Originally from Haiti, Catiana grew up in Paris before moving to London, where she worked for many years within the NHS. Her decision to train as a therapist was inspired by a meaningful experience in 2019, when she gave her mother a massage during a family visit. Supporting her mother to relax and de-stress brought Catiana a deep sense of fulfilment and motivated her to pursue a career in therapy.

Her interest in body awareness and non-verbal communication inspired her to expand her practice through training as an integrative counsellor/psychotherapist. She currently runs a private practice, specialising in working with women experiencing a range of difficulties, including low self-esteem, confidence and body image issues, marginalisation and racism, identity issues, imposter syndrome, narcissistic and abusive relationships, work-related concerns, loss and grief, domestic abuse, sexual violence, and matters relating to religion and faith.

  • 🌿 Yin & Massage – Catiana will be sharing her magic by assiting our Yin practice with massage to help us land softly.
🌿 Emotional support – Should anything arise during our time together.
🌿 Massage / Body work – Catiana will available to book for:

    • Pregnancy Massage

    • Manual Lymphatic Drainage

    • Indian Head Massage

    • Deep Tissue Massage

    • Maderotherapy.
